Gagaku Museum (Takitei Merchant House)

Gagaku, or traditional court music and dance, first came to Fukuoka 130 years ago. Carefully passed from generation to generation, the instruments and costumes used in gagaku performances are currently on display in the carefully-preserved Takitei Merchant House.
