In olden days, the peasantry could not help but fall into abject poverty when a great famine persisted. Given this, Atsuyoshi drew upon his private resources to build a storehouse for emergency-relief supplies. It was usually used to store emergency supplies of grain such as rice that could be used at times of famine.
