The Only Imperial Mausoleum in the Prefecture, Futazuka

Prince Kosho, son of Emperor Godaigo, was confined in a mansion located in a place now called Akuojigu in Futazuka and then killed. It was unknown for a long time where his tomb was, but as a result of research conducted in 1909 before the visit of the Crown Prince (later Emperor Taisho) to Hokuriku, this was officially recognized as the tomb of Prince Kosho.
