The last roof tiles of the Asuka era and sueki earthenware were found here, and ruins of a kiln and craftsmen's residence were also discovered. The Kosugi Maruyama Ruins, designated as a nationally important historic site, are valuable because they reveal the whole picture of the ancient ceramic industry.
