Lake Katsura, Nanto-shi

This artificial lake serving the Sakaigawa Dam was completed in 1993 after 18 years of construction. The area surrounding Lake Katsura is noted for its beautiful natural setting, which includes the Hakusan National Park and the Gokayama Prefectural Nature Park.
