Hokuetsu Kiko (Haiku Travelogue) by Kaya Shirao

Kaya Shirao, who wrote Hokuetsu Kiko, was a haiku poet of the Edo era. It is said he composed this haiku when he visited Zuiryuji Temple. About 350 years after its foundation, Takaokasan Zuiryuji Temple was impressively reconstructed. The reconstruction took 10 years and cost 2.3 billion yen.
