Bijo Bunko (Library), Seibi

This private library in O-machi was built in 1927 by the kimono fabric dealer Kaneda Bijo for the youth of the town working in local industry. It was first used by craftspeople who wanted to study but could not afford to buy books. In 1989 it was rebuilt and is today used by a large number of people.
