Manyo Historical Museum, Fushiki

The museum was established in 1990 as one of the projects to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the city of Takaoka. Visitors can learn about the Manyoshu and Otomo no Yakamochi as they enjoy the permanent exhibition. The museum also collects materials and documents to study the Manyoshu and its era. Plants appearing in the Manyoshu are grown in the garden, and visitors can enjoy the seasonal changes in the scenery.
