Limestone Cave of Irakabe, Kuniyoshi

This limestone cave is located by Hakusan Pond. It is said that the ground of the area consists of calcic sandstone, and water seeping through gaps of the fault gradually dissolved the calcium and made the cave. Among the limestone caves in the prefecture, this is the only one located near human dwellings.
