This merchant's townhouse was build toward the end of the Meiji era. Originally, the family worked as rice merchants and there are two storehouses. The frontage stands at 8.1 meters, and the entry hall and seven rooms have been tidily arranged into two rows. This residence is in extremely good condition, with almost no renovations to or expansions of the original structure having been made.
