This is a road in Moriyama that runs from behind the Ito residence to a ridge in the mountains. The road had been used in the past to carry up the stones used to make the stone walls at the castle. It is believed that green bamboo were broken in half and laid out in pairs to create railing; large stones were hewn out at quarries Himi, Nadaura and Ota and dragged up here using oxen.
