This roughly 33 meter-long, "keyhole-shaped" burial mound is near the Yatauwano highlands. It is typical of the Kinai style mounds and is thought to have been built in the early 4th century. It is a smaller model of the Hashihaka burial mound in Nara and the Tsubai Otsukayama burial mound in Kyoto. The Jokoji district has many other burial mounds.
