Imizu Shrine, Jozuka

Originally, this was a shrine of nature worship devoted to Mt. Futagami itself, situated at the foot of the mountain. In 1875, the shrine was moved to Takaoka Kojo Park and the branch shrine Futagami Imizu Shrine was erected in its place at the original site. After World War II, each of the two shrines became legally independent religious corporations.
