Mt. Futagami (Noto Peninsula Quasi-National Park), Futagami

The 274 meter-tall, twin-peaked Mt. Futagami has been worshipped since ancient times as a mountain of kami (divine spirits). As evidenced by the fact that its name is written with the same characters as Mt. Nijo in Nara, Otomono Yakamochi is said to have had special feelings for this mountain.
