Visitors cutting across the rural village of Jokoji and heading toward the interior will find a waterfall. Also known as the Meisen Falls, the waters have a very refreshing impact. They are said to be effective for eye disorders. A statue of Acala, the god of fire Fudomyo-o, is enshrined on the west side of the falls, indicating that this has been a place of worship since ancient times.
