The God of Yanaida, Nomura

A man named Saeki Kaemon of Iguchi Hongo was cleaning the ditches around his rice field one day when he found a small object usually found in a Shinto shrine, believed to embody a deity's spirit. He took it home and placed it on his home altar. When the people of the village of Yanaida in Himi found out about this, they took it away from him, claiming it was the lost god of their village.
