Here specialties and souvenirs from Takaoka and its environs are on display and available for sale. These include traditional crafts, such as Takaoka copperware and lacquerware, processed foods produced from the bounty of Toyama Bay, and a variety of manufactured goods. The building also houses an industry museum with displays including one-third scale reproductions of Takaoka's Mikurumayama floats, which have been designated important tangible and intangible cultural assets by the Japanese government.
