The festival features the Hokuriku Chrysanthemum Fair, displaying chrysanthemums elaborately grown by chrysanthemum enthusiasts from the three prefectures of Hokuriku, and the Nio Gate, a five-storied pagoda, fans and other items made of chrysanthemum flowers. Various stage events also take place, such as bingo, karaoke and entertaining acts by live performers.
