The Shogawa River flowing on the western border of the town is the longest river among the seven rivers of Toyama Prefecture, measuring 132 kilometers in total length. The part of the river flowing through Toyama Prefecture is over 64 kilometers long, and a source of abundant water for the people of the prefecture.
