Daimon Hikiyama Festival is held on the second Sunday of October. Five wheeled floats used to appear in the festival, but after the merger of Rengeji into Takaoka City in 1942, four floats from four areas of the town - Biwakubi , Nishi-machi, Naka-machi, Ta-machi - are featured in the festival. After gathering and lining up in front of Daimon Shrine, they trundle through the town.
