This is the original nabe (hotpot) Festival, enabling participants to savor the fresh food products of the Sea of Japan in winter. Used in the festival are large pots more than two meters in diameter, made locally in Takaoka from copper and aluminum. This is held in mid-January in the central shopping street of Takaoka with the cooperation of the local shopping arcade.
