"The Provincial Constable Kills Himself," Futazuka

Taiheiki is a chronicle of 50 years of confrontation between North and South Dynasties. The sad story of Prince Kosho is depicted in it. In 1331, the prince was confined by Nagoe Tokiari, the provincial constable of Etchu, and later killed by him. Seven days later, Tokiari killed himself. The collapse of the Kamakura shogunate came just 12 days after the prince's death.
