"Giketsu, kyoketsu (Novel) by Izumi Kyoka, Hiramai"

Giketsu kyoketsu was performed under the alternate title of "Takinoshiraito" at the Asakusa-za in Tokyo in 1895 and won popularity. The point of departure for the stagecoach that is the launching point for this tale is set as Katahara-machi.
