"The Sugano Residence, Takaoka Area"

The main house of the storehouse-style townhouse of the Sugano Residence was reconstructed after the great fire of 1900. The storehouse was presumably built around the same time. The residence is noted for its grand exterior coated with black plaster and gorgeous decorations.
